I dunno... blogger is having some issues! I've been trying since yesterday to get this thing to post, but I have been unable to. Well, maybe with today's entry it'll publish corrrectly...
I went to the perfect church service today! We had church in the park and David and I took our canvas captain's chairs. We set them up and had them to sit in during the sermon. Pastor Tim looked at us and laughed! Hey, that's what I've always wanted, recliners in church! *grins*
During worship, it was so cool to be singing these songs in worship and listening to the wind and feeling the sun filter through the trees. It was like nature was joining in our worship. Very awesome! There is something about worshiping God in the outdoors. I'm reminded of Psalm 19: The heavens declare the glory of God, the skys proclaim the works of His hands. Very appropriate!
Right after the service, we were preparing to get the food set up for the potluck and we had a cloudburst. Today was very nice and even with that cloudburst, we had fun. I had a good conversation with Pastor Tim's mother. She lives in Eugene, so she knew what I was talking about when I talked about Eugene Bible College and going to college there. Very neat lady.
And now I'm home... Chatting with Samuel and Meg. Pretty cool.
