This has been a hectic week and it's not even half over! I'll start out with my Grandma. She had the surgery yesterday. Dad and Mom did not go down. Turns out that it was Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. Not good, as that's the worse case scenerio. Thing is, the doctor was amazed that it was localized to the reproductive system; it wasn't attached to anything else. He had never seen it like that. So PTL that a hystorectamy (sp?) removed all the cancer. Of course she has to go through some chemo and will be in the hospital until Friday or Saturday. I have been praying hard for her.
Secondly, Dad started looking for teaching jobs (he was educated as a math teacher) and talked to a guy in Boulder, MT. He was interested and asked Dad if he could come interview. Dad said yes, but get this, the day they were doing interviews is tomorrow! So Mom and Dad are heading over to Montana today to stay with my Grandma H. and then will go up to Boulder tomorrow. So there's a possible. We're kinda reluctant to do any type of teaching job, 'cause Dad is a pastor, but God has His plans. This would be good because we'd be very close to Grandma and she's needing someone close.
After the interview they will head to Fairfield and stay there overnight. Then they'll get to Boise about the same time I will on Saturday! *laughs* Tis interesting how things work out.
David and I are home alone today and tomorrow we'll go bowling for his BD. Poor Dave -- always has something take away from his BD on the 10th.
I have a lot to do to prepare for my trip and to keep the house clean for the possible company on Sunday.... farewell for a bit.
