Hi people! Yeah, I've survived!!!!
Dead week was quite interesting. I can barely remember it now, 'cause I was so busy. However, my sociology project went quite well. We went to two different places, the Gateway Mall and Wal-Mart, with a wheelchair. At the mall, Tony pretended to be retarded and Josh pushed him around. I watched people and it was quite interesting to see their reactions. Most people would glance at them and then glance away and continue on their way. There was more interaction at Wal-Mart 'cause Josh was in the wheelchair then and he does a very good impression of a retarded person. *grins* Most people were just a bit afraid and wouldn't talk to them. I found it quite interesting.
Finals week was also interesting. I had Sociology on Monday and so I studied for that over the weekend, as well as Greek. Then I had Greek and Native American Lit on Tuesday and I studied 6 hours for greek and 3 hours for NAL. I think I did really well on those finals. Of course I was burnt out and the next final showed it. I'll be happy with a C on that final. The last final I took was Speech and I believe I did fairly well on that one. So I was happy to be done with this term!
I went out to Shari's with a group of friends on Thursday night. That was a great time. We had a lot of fun. Then I installed Half-life on my laptop and stayed up until 2:30am. *grins* I'm addicted.
Friday was a busy day of running errands and getting everything packed.
Then I left Eugene yesterday and got home around 2pm. It's nice to be home.
Oh, Jen, I used Ministry as my last Speech topic. Didn't get the outline in on time, so that was a B that got dropped to a C, and then the actual speech was a C. I had a horrible time remembering what I wanted to say and so flubbed up a few points. But I think that's 'cause I didn't prepare enough. I am definitely practicing more next term for Speech II.
Let's see... Oh, I'm putting my definition of ministry to the test and seeing if I can actually 'minister' in that way. So far it's been interesting.
Well, that's all for now. I need to sit down and plan out my break. I have a plan. I want to get a lot of Greek done and I also want to work on my car and do things with the family. I want to keep myself busy! *grins*
