Update: filled out one of those email survey things and put it in my bio.
So, yeah, today was fun. I woke up at 5:50 and seemed like I was actually awake and ready to get up. I looked at the time, I gave it some thought, said no, and went back to sleep. *grins* So then at 9, Mom woke me up and said that a guy in the church, Andy, needed a ride up to Sandy to buy a car. Me, not having anything special to do, said yes. So Andy, and his brother went up and bought the car. They then treated me to a burger at Calamity Jane's. If you're ever in Sandy, OR, you must try their burgers. Huge, and delicious! Feeling full, we then came home. That took most of the day.
It was fun, 'cause, while I know Andy, I don't know him very well and the trip up was quite fun. It's interesting how even when I don't make an effort, God is bringing me into contact with people. it's a very interesting experience...
Not much happening on the Greek front. I'm a little worried, actually, 'cause I need to review and I need to memorize. Otherwise I may be having the same problem I had last term and be on the edge. I hate being on the edge. I like having a grasp of the concepts and the knowledge to do well in my classes. Not having time, or not doing well makes me stress, and I don't like that feeling. Besides, when I'm on the edge, I know I'm not doing the best I can, and I'm doing it for God, so I have to do the best I can.
Just watched Treasure Planet. Good movie. I think they did an excellent job at retelling the story in that motiff (does it have an 'e' or not? motiffe?).
As far as my spiritual life goes... I have moments of prayer and I do talk to God, but I'm back into the lazy mode. What is it about my home that makes me lazy? I hate it, 'cause when I'm lazy, I sin. Stinks.
Let's see, tomorrow is Christmas Eve... We're having a service, but I don't think many people will be there. Our family always opens gifts on Christmas Eve, so we'll be opening them tomorrow and doing most of our traditions. Should be fun. Wish we could have gone to be with extended family, but being a pastor means you have to stick around for holidays.
Glad you liked the pictures... I can't wait to get a scanner, 'cause those aren't the best quality.
