wearing: red pocket tee and khaki shorts with sneakers, no socks.
Listening to: My father practicing worship in the living room. Surely the Presence was what he just finished singing.
Current Mood: Undecided between bored and lazy. Of course those almost go hand in hand...
Happy about: Grades from last term! They are higher than winter term and puts my Cum. GPA at 3.66! Also got a phone number from a friend I haven't talked to in almost a year, so I'll have to call her soon...
Current Status on move: We're moved in and unpacking tons of boxes. The church office is in the basement, so we have to work around all that stuff and the stuff in the garage that they left. Going to be interesting to figure out how to deal with the 6 boxes of adult diapers...

I feel relaxed... and it's high time that I feel this way...
Okay, I left Eugene at 1 or so Friday the 13th. The trip over the pass to Madras was quite enjoyable. I really like the houses and greenness of that area. I got home (home from here on out will be Madras) in the evening, unloaded my car and cooked a pizza. I enjoyed the cable connection for awhile and then went to bed on the sofa. the next day, I made realy good time and got to MF around five. I continued packing and etc through that evening into Sunday afternoon. Then, that Sunday, we got the Uhaul and started loading the odds and ends into it. God blessed us on Monday with a friend of mine from college who lives just and hour or so away from MF. He and his brother came out and helped load the Uhaul. I swear that they cut off half a day's work for us!! Thanks Justin!
That brings us to yesterday. We were finishing loading the matteresses and the last minute stuff, as well as cleaning, when we decided that David and I should bring the animals home that evening instead of having to get a bigger motel room. thus David and I left the parental units finishing the cleaning and we drove the 4 hours home. The animals weren't happy to be caged and cooped up, but no accidents or anything happened. It was very nice to be home and be able to get ready for my parents and the Uhaul.
So today has been a day of relaxation. We've done a little to prepare for unloading, but there really wasn't much we could do... I have taken the time to continue reading The Three Musketeers and am 3/4 of the way through. What a cool book. I read it once, but I don't remember it at all so I feel like I am reading a new book. David has been reading as well as taking advantage of this nice cable connection. We both can't wait to get the house networked!
I'm going to have to remember how to act like a PK again... I answered the phone a little bit ago (the phone is used by the church, as well as the basement) and had to deal with a lady asking for service times. As far as I know we just have a Sunday morning service, but I think I might have handled that a little bit better. Oh well, I'll get into the swing of things.
Once Mom and Dad show up, our house is going to be turned into a box world! So many boxes... So many books.. *laughs*
well, I think it's time to draw this to a close and see if I can do anything else... Maybe I'll check out some bloggers...

I find it amazing that today is my last day at EBC as a freshman. It's been 9 months since my Mom and Dad drove me over here and moved me in. I've had so many memories happen. I've grown, both width wise (sadly, I weigh 30 pounds more than when I came...) and spiritually. God has used the unique experience of dormlife to work on my patience. He used a girl here who was going tthrough emotional crisies one after another to show me how far I would go to help someone and that I had to totally rely on God. He used papers and assignments to build my self-discipline. And He brought godly friends into my life to keep me accountable and to grow me. I've learned the importance of keeping myself in God's light no matter how busy or how sleepy I am.
It's been amazing... i'm 20 years old and no longer a wet behind the ears freshman.
Wow....

I have really got to learn how to get papers written at the beginning of the term, or in the middle. Writing, or in this case, rewriting, papers late at night doesn't help the thoughts to flow well. Thank God for coffee even though it's extremely bad for one.

One final down, four to go if you count the turn in one. I'm looking forward to getting all this done so I don't have to worry about it anymore!!!!

Got the paper turned in. Don't know how good of a paper it is though... *sigh* Gotta learn how to beat this procratination...
Something interesting today... I'm listening to a radio station and am hearing a familiar voice. Teen Challange is interviewing Dave Oliver! It's really cool, 'cause I used to go over to his house for a youth group occaisionally. Pretty cool.

It's CRUUUUUNNNNNNNNCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHH time! I feel like I'm about to leave my first year of college with a bang! *laughs* 5 page paper due tomorrow. All I've done is read for it. Going to be interesting what happens with it...
I tried on my dress clothes last night... just a bit tighter than last time, but the funny thing was that I had forgotten how to tie a tie! Shows how long ago it's been... So I google on how to tie a tie and come up with [...this...] I now know how to tie a tie! *grins*

I'm back from Madras! Dad preached this morning so I went over last night and stayed through the service and got to meet everyone. I took some of my stuff to the house and unloaded it. This way I'll be able to fit everything in when I head home in two weeks.
Well, I'd say more, but I'm needing to get some stuff printed out so I can try and get some homework done at work. I'm so wiped right now, with a headache, that I wonder if I will be able to get anything done.
