The stitches are out and my eye is stinging like crazy. Imagine a speck of dust stuck in your eye longer than a few secs. Well that's the feeling I have.

It was an interesting procedure. He numbed my eye, put this spring thing in to hold the eyelids open and then proceeded to cut and pullout the stitches. These stitches are tiny. You can imagine the control that it takes for Dr. Terry to remove them (and for that matter, put them in). I think I had the right doctor for this whole process.

My vision is bad and will be for quite some time as the cornea adjusts. I'll have to get a new prescription in my left lense. In the meantime, I'm going to have to wear my right contact all the time in order to have any resemblence to sight. What stinks is that I'm not seeing well even with that contact. I'm hoping it'll get better before I head back to Eugene.

Just finished watching The Man froom Snowy River. I love that movie! If anyone happens to want to send me the soundtrack... *grins*
