Profound thoughts did not come. *sniffs*

So I'm leaving Madras tomorrow after church and David is coming with me. He's staying until Wed. and then Mom and Dad will pick him up. I'm thinking we're going to have fun. He'll get to meet my friends and then get to go to classes. Not to mention having to sleep in a dorm. *grins big*

Registration is Monday and I'm going to be registering for 4 classes again. Once I'm done with Greek I I'll be able to take more credits. I'm actually looking forward to turning the brain back on and being able to get back to learning.

This next week is going to be busy though. I'm registering Monday, helping a friend with a project on Tuesday, doing an Element X presentation on Wednesday, having Element X Practice on Thursday. Friday might or might not be free. Then of course I have to get back into the swing of things relating to homework. Wait, Friday might be when Mel may be coming to town... Must get ahold of her!

So Saturday we might be going to NCC to look around.

Well, I'm thinking I need to go to sleep. Have a wonderful night!

Oh, and BTW, The Clicking Lense is fixed!
Don't you hate it when you're lying in bed and profound thoughts are going through your head, but you just want to sleep, so you don't get up and write a blog post? That happened to me last night. Something Mike said on his blogger prompted my brain to be thinking and now I don't know what I was thinking about. Well, it's time for lunch, so maybe some homemade pizza on my stomache will prompt the thought process.

99.8% air - Amazing stuff, this.

So, I've decided that, well, actually, I don't know what I've decided. But I decided something!!

Update.

Yes, I'm home now. Yes I need to update, but I'm in an interesting mood right now... So yeah, you'll see something in the next few days. I'll be attempting to fix my Clicking Lense section. I also wish my typing skills were much better... I look at these bloggers that are mini-essays and I wish I didn't have to think each word as I type it.

Okay, so I really should have saved my last post befor the computer crashed on me. Oh well, live and learn, though you'd think I would have learned this lesson ages ago.

I went to see Peter Pan last night. Can I just say that I was impressed? They kept true to the story and the love that parents give. Very cool. brought back a lot of memories of watching the play. What's really cool is that they stuck to the original story and didn't change it much at all.

Life has been interesting... I only had two projects due during the first part of dead week and so after Wednesday, I've been quite lazy. It's been nice to not do anything, but I've got four finals to study for so I can't afford to laze around any more. the Intro to Computer final is on Monday and I don't think it'll be that hard. Mark is on tuesday and it's comprehensive and I'm a bit worried. Speech is the next day and I'm not entirely sure how that's going to go. we didn't cover that much material that could be tested on, so I'm not sure what to study for. My last final is Greek and while I'm not too worried about it, I still need to put a lot of work into it.

I'm looking forward to spring break. My plans have changed to staying here for half of it and then going home for the second half. There's some things I want to do here in town and I'm fish sitting for a friend of mine. *grins*

It's amazing the different views of how to prepare for marriage and etc. Some advocate just friendship until you find the one and some advocate dating 30 men/women so that you know what you want. article talks about the latter. I don't think I agree with him as far as the dating goes. I think that I can interact with the opposite sex just fine as friends and that I don't need to 'date around' to find out what I like.

That site looks interesting though... Might find some good sources for the persuasion speech I'm working on. Yeah, I chose the ever interesting topic of preparing for marriage. Going to be quite interesting to see how it turns out.

I've been thinking about love lately and the words 'I love you.' I have almost come to the point of thinking that we have so cheapened those three words that they don't mean anything. You see couples who say I love you, but then you see them break up and show that they really don't love. Love for me is a committment. When I love someone, it'll be for good and for the rest of my life. The surface emotions that will occur first won't be the love I'm talking about. I want to have the agape love, the love that says no matter what, I'm going to be true to my spouse and will truly love her. That said, I am going to endeavor to save the words "I love you" for the day of proposal.

Now, of course, that's a long way off. I'm still the resident bachelor and proud of it. *grins* Doesn't mean I don't want to marry, just that I know that I'm not ready right now for a relationship. I do look forward to the partnership of marriage and the eventual house full of little JCs... Someone made the comment last night (as I had the pastor's daughter - Winter, 6 - on my lap) that I would have a lot of kids. I wholeheartedly agree. My goal is to have around 5 or maybe even more, depends on how God leads me.

School is winding down. I've got two big projects coming due and of course I haven't done a thing to them. Got to sit down and write an outline for my persuasion speech and then talk to the teacher about it. It's due on Friday. Then I have a Mark paper due a week from tomorrow. It'll be a bit easier 'cause the teacher assigned the text for us to write on and gave a formula for our paper to fit. Got to research for that.

Of course, a monkey wrench gets thrown into everything and this one is a doozy! Our head resident decided that we needed to have a white glove inspection tonight. So, we get to spend most of the evening cleaning our room. Stinks, 'cause I have better things to do with my time.

Oh, I got to go skiing for the first time in 7 years on Saturday. fell quite a few times and stayed on the bunny run mostly, but it was a blast! Me wants to go again.

Well, gtg. The lab is now closing.
