Bah humbug! I just wrote up this beautiful post and the IE had a javascript error when I tried to publish it. Of course, I hadn't saved it.

Basically it said that I'm alive and well even though my car has sprung a leak in the radiator.

Okay, I need to go now, so I'll give you a nice long post sometime in the future! *grins*

I'm just about ready to leave. It's been a fantastic week and I can't wait until the wedding when I can come back up and enjoy these people again.

Listening to: Stephen and Mrs. B. talking about the game of Stratego that they just played and also to the snores of Mr. B. *grins*

Wearing: Socks, blue jean shorts, red pocket tee and button down shirt over the top.

Newest RI meeting: Heidi on friday. We met and hung out at a park and then at a couple of houses. She's a cool person who has a lot of energy even when she's tired. She also whoops rear end at Halo!

Church: We went to New Life Center this morning. For a large church, they actually didn't seem commercialized as I've seen other large churches become. It was a good worship time (they actually do hymns whitch is a rare thing in large, Pentecostal churches), and the sermon was good. It was a blessing type one, but the guy talked about God giving us blessings in order that we might bless others. Very good points and he gave some practical ways to bless others. I met two friends of Liz's - Scott and Sandy - who were very cool. Scott and I started talking and we clicked. Very cool to have that happen.

Tomorrow: Liz has to work in the morning and will get back around one or so. Then we're either going to call Martha or she's going to call us. I hope we get hold of her 'cause we've already had a great three-way conversation with Chera, and to top that off with a convo with the Fred, would be most exhilarating! *laughs* I also need to replace my master cylinder for my brakes. That ought to be fun!

Good night!

Hi again! Yeah, it's a second post for today, amazing, eh? But hey, consider yourselves twice blessed. *winks*

I was reading a few bloggers and they gave me ideas to chew on. One of those ideas has to deal with friends. I just realized how blessed I am to have such good friends. Even though circumstances change and communication can be iffy, I have friends that have stayed true. I want to thank you for that. You (speaking to all my friends) have helped me tremendously. I've gone through moves, emotional disturbances, and college life, and you've been there for me. I've ranted and raved - you listened. I messed up - you forgave. I gave advice - you took it (with a grain of salt of course). To you, my friends, I owe a lot and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope in the months and years to come that I can be a friend just like you.

Lord, I pray that You will touch my friends and hold them in Your palm. Just pull them into Your arms and provide for all of their needs. Bring them closer to You. Thank You for these people and that You've brought them into my life. Thank You for the influence that they've had on me. Just bless them and keep them. Amen.

The second topic is that I really miss college. Yes, I've been living on campus, but there are few people around. I miss the hustle and bustle of 90 students living together and studying together. I miss the deadlines and the assignments. I like breaks, but this summer is carrying on way too long! Bring on the fall!

My brother leaves on Monday (the 21st) to drive down to AZ. I wish I was going with him - to see the dorms and the college. Unfortunately circumstances wouldn't allow me to. It's certainly a weird feeling to know that the experiences I had two years ago are going to be replayed (in a different setting, yes, but the feelings are going to be the same). It's weird to think that my little brother is 19 and a freshman in college. It amazes me.

It also amazes me that I'm 21 and a Junior in college. How in the world did that happen? Seems just like yesterday I was in Wilbur and graduating... *sigh* Time goes by way too fast. In less than two years I'll graduate from EBC and be out in the "real" world. Kind of daunting, actually.

Well, I have things to do tomorrow and then I'll be heading to Everett on Wednesday! Yay!
Greetings!

I am at home right now and enjoying having an internet connection on my computer.

I guess the big news is that I popped out my right shoulder last wednesday. I was tubing down the Wilamette River with my friend James and took a chute. Well, it drug me to the bushes and I was trying to avoid an underwater branch. Flayed my arms and in that process popped the shoulder out. Luckily it wasn't deep water and I was able to stand up. James helped me across the chute and we hiked to a service road. Luckily he had his cell phone and called a friend of his. We then hiked to the paved road and were picked up. Got to the ER and after waiting the shortest time I've ever waited in an ER, they popped my shoulder in after drugging me. I then went home.

Of course the long period of pain was annoying, but that's over with now.

I'm healing good though. I was able to drive yesterday and I get to lose the sling on Wednesday. So I'm happy about that.

Hot! It is hot! I've stayed in the airconditioned areas for most of the day. Talked to some friends on the phone and hanging with others.

Been having some very wierd dreams. They're almost the same theme... Warfare, chases, spiritual warfare... I don't know whether there's any significance, but I do know that they are really, really weird.

I also just spent 40 bucks on food. Yogurt, bulk stuff, cereal, some canned goods. Should be good for awhile.

The 15th I'm going home for a few days and then I'll be up in Seattle area for awhile. I'm stoked about this trip. It's going to be a blast!
