I thought I'd take a break from the wonderful homework and tell you about my good day that I had yesterday.
The day started at 7 or so when I rode my bike (first time) to Liquid Bean for Greek class. That went good, though they didn't take debit cards and I didn't get coffee. *sniffs* After getting back to school, I got to study for my tests. I think I did a good job on the pulpit speech one, but the Prison Epistles test went horrible. Then I worked in the Lab until 5.
Then my day started to get really good. I dinked around until 5:30 and then rode my bike to Ryan and Kristine's. They then proceeded to feed me really good steak. I ate about 16 ounces. Then Jason and Rick came over and we proceed to play Texas Holding Poker. I won a thousand bucks! Just kidding, we didn't use money.
After two games of that (10:30pmish) Jason and Rick and I went to Jason's apartment and proceeded to play Risk for a long time. We played the first game in an hour and a half and Rick won. The second game, went until 4:30. I was out at 3:40 and went home to my bed. But it was worth it! What a night. I miss playing Risk.
Anyways, I need to get back to homework. tata!

Bleh. I'm feeling really negative right now. Part of it is that Josh made a comment that I keep accusing people of being negative, but I'm negative about them. I realized that he spoke truth and so now I'm faced with the knowledge that I'm not being the positive person I like to be. That on top of having problems with my walk with God is making me grumpy. I feel like I have a load pressing down on me and I'm haivng a really hard time giving it to God and letting Him have it.
I really don't know know what to write at the moment. Nothing spectactular has occurred, nothing is broken on my car, and I haven't died... My life is pretty much routine right now... Three tests next week to study for. A paper due on Monday to write... and people to hang out with...
However, there are some people out there that need to update their bloggers! John E. and Josh, and Samuel and James and Melissa and Liz and Stephen and James... Wait, most of that list is over on the left! Your most dedicated fan is waiting for a post!!!!! or a phone call

Hi guys!
I am currently in an empty computer lab waiting for some people to show up. See my dad is a rabbit raiser and he's been trying to buy this rabbit from these people for some time. Problem is, transportation of said rabbit over the mountains has proven to be difficult. Solution: rabbit be delivered to son the night before they come over to visit. So I'll be babysitting a rabbit tonight. *grins*
It's going to be awesome to see the parents! I haven't seen them since mid august and I really want to. They're going to get to come to chapel and then we're going to go out and eat. I'm stoked.
I have a test before chapel though. Theology. I'm not too worried 'cause we're covering Bibliology and I have a fair grasp on that. The dates are what worry me, but I've memorized them early, so they won't be in the jumble of cramming.
----
The rabbit has been delivered and is very cute! *grins* My father will be happy!

Wearing: White and red athletic shoes, white socks, khaki cargo shorts, white t-shirt with EBC on it.
Listening to: Something Isn't Right Here by Juliana Theory
Currently Reading: The Icarus Hunt by Timothy Zahn; A Beautiful Mind; Between Two Worlds by John Stott; Lifespan Development; Foundations of Pentecostal Theology
Current event on campus: Focus. This is the weekend when all the teenagers in Open Bible get to come and see what EBC is all about. Thus our population triples and we get to have all of these people crowding the campus. It's not that bad, but I just wish that I didn't have a test on Monday to study for. There's four guys from this area staying in our room and we had an awesome conversation last night. Ended up staying up until 3, but at least we didn't have school today.
Should be doing: well, I think I need to clean... depends on how much mess the focus students made in the classrooms. I have a paper that needs writing, theology test to study for, theology verses to memorize, I need to read two chapters in Stott, I should start early on next weeks homework for Human Development.
Future news: I'm starting to look into possible churches to intern at. Current possibilities are in Oregon, OH, and Everret, WA. All depends on whether any of the Foursquare churches in the Detroit area feel right to my spirit. Jen, wanna do some church shopping for me? *grins*
Excited about: Monday my parents are crossing the mountains to visit little ol' me! They're coming to chapel and then we're going to go pick up a rabbit. It'll be a lot of fun!
Current wishings: 1. That my brother would create a blogger and update it. 2. That I wouldn't have to call my friends, but that they would call me *stares at Melissa and the B's*. That someone would give me a million dollars.
Going to do in a moment: Put some of my frequently read bloggers on my links bar. If you see your link and don't want it there, tell me and I will take it off.

Just a quick post to say that I'm soaked! We had a downpour and I had to go from one end of the campus to the other. I didn't think it was going to rain and so I didn't wear a hoodie today. Thus, I'm soaked and my glasses are spotted.
Going to a Tolkien conference tonight. It's basically finding the gospel in Tolkien. Should be interesting.
I like Fridays.

I'm wiped. Yes, it's because I stayed up after 1 last night and got up at 7. Yes, I should know better, but it was a good reason. Josh and I had been hanging out at Jason's until 11:30 and then went back to our room. We had a very interesting conversation about history and the lessons and similarities that you can find in it. He's taking Wester Civ. and I know quite a bit about that era, so it was a cool conversation. Then we started talking about relationships, what God was showing us, and possible plans for the future. He's graduating this year and thinks he's going to be moving to the Seattle area afterwards. But it's a crucial thing to be thinking about. I've been pondering the future quite a lot lately and I really see that I have a ton of options. It's almost overwhelming to think about.
I'm not so overwhelmed about school now. I've done the first week and now I can get into a groove and learn. I'm glad it's the weekend though. I get to take a break tonight (going to go see I, Robot) and then hit the books on Sat. and Sun. and perhaps get ahead.
I also need to make some phone calls. I have several people that I haven't talked to in a long time and I would like to touch base with them. Oh and if anyone wants to call me, after 9 weekdays and on the weekends would be the best time.
Well, time to start cleaning...
