Now this is why I like coming home - the smell and the taste of chocolate chip cookies. My growing up years are full of these smells and tastes. She has this recipe that is simply to die for!

Life is good. I finished assembling my shelves yesterday and today I put the first coat of paint on. It's an interesting color which my father had on hand. Let's just say it'd be at home in a little one's room. *grins*

So, tomorrow I go to church, then we go to Star Wars for Dad's day. Should be fun. I have already seen E3, but I'm totally up for a second viewing. There's a lot in it and I think it'll take a couple more viewings to get it all. I have theories and I wonder if they are correct. After we return, I shall then put the second coat on it. Once it dries on Monday, I'll take a picture and post it.

Tuesday is the day of travel. I get to drive up to Everett and report in to Devin. I hope they have a place for me to sleep. That would be a really good thing. *laughs* If push comes to shove, I'm sure they'll put me up in a motel.
