Well, my internship has been put off for a week. Seems that Nate and several other staff members are going to be gone. So, my parents have the pleasure of my company for another week. My official starting day is the 28th. Which pushes the end of the internship past Labor Day and might make it more difficult to get into an apartment - Josh you're going to need to be the eyes and ears down in Eugene.
I got the first coat done on my shelves. Today I will be working on the second coat. I'm really hoping that a third coat will not be necessary. This is my main project for today.
I'm also hoping to start going through the stuff I brought here and deciding just how many shirts I need, and etc, for my Everett stay. I have a feeling that wherever I stay, I'm going to have very little space. So I need to go through my stuff and figure out exactly what I need. I need my greek stuff, but I've got a whole bin full of binders related to that. I guess I'll finally have to sort through two years worth of notes and condense them down to a large binder...
Mom just reminded me of something... Did anyone ever read any Amelia Bedelia books when they were young? I did. Saturday Mom and I went garage saleing and discovered a sale that was a retired 2nd grade teacher's stuff. And guess what she had? Yes, 13 Amelia Bedelia books. I bought them for three bucks. A great find for my future kids! *grins* I was tickled.
Well, Dad is in his "let's get things done" mode. I think I'd better get ready for a day of work. Tata.
