Good afternoon my friends!
The last couple of days have been quite productive. Yesterday I woke up, met with my friends, and then cleaned quite a bit. I worked on my cover letter and resume and got it printed out. My intentions were to go to an employment agency that my friend had referred me to. Well, I called them up and they told me that they specialized in people who had recent experience in that field. Well, I don't have any recent experience (besides the current retail job I'm working). I didn't end up going. Good thing I called.
I then turned my attention to filling out an application for Oregon Community Credit Union. A friend of mine works in Human resources and she hand delivered it to the recruiter this morning. And guess what?! I got a call for an interview around 10. I can't do it today, but tomorrow at eleven I'm going to be interviewed for the position (either a part time teller or a service rep in their call center). I'm totally stoked, this would be exactly the type of job for me!
I would request that you be praying for me. This is an opportunity and I'm really hoping and praying that this is God's plan for me.
Well, I'm going to go over to Fred Meyer and get a hair cut.
