It's early Saturday morning and I'm trying to figure out exactly why I agreed to cover a shift... Oh yeah, the money... *blinks* I'm sitting here drinking bad instant coffee (Taster's Choice, bleh) 'cause I didn't want to take the time to brew a pot. Besides the fact that it's way too early, I have never liked working on Saturdays. In my opinion, (and my parents can attest to this) Saturdays are for sleeping in. Then, if you have to do chores, you should do them slowly and with as little effort as possible. Of course, that didn't exactly work out as a teenager, and now that I'm an adult, it most definitely doesn't work out.
sidenote: Who in the world keeps chickens in the middle of Eugene? I coulda sworn I heard a rooster.
I work from 7:30am to 3. First time I've done an opening shift... I have no clue what to do, so I hope the customer service people and the managers will give me a hand or at least point me in the right direction...
Oh and I got my shifts for next week. 26 hours, mostly 3 to 10, the closing shift. Thank You Lord for more hours!
I'm going to leave you with a question: If you could be a breakfast food, what would you be?
