Sorry, couldn't resist. The last few weeks have me at that point. Not so much that I lost my purpose, just that it was clouded over and dingy. I've sat down several times to write a blog, but the only things that came are the things that have stressed me, that have muddled my thinking, that make me want to curl up with a book and forget the world. I couldn't bring myself to write a complaining blog.

I'm pushing past those circumstances and finding that purpose again. It's so blatantly obvious that I keep missing it. My life is to love God and love others. Forget about the stress of the job, forget about being frustrated over self performance, and forget about pleasing the world. What I need to do is please my God.

It's amazing how many times in the Bible that people go through tough times, times that make my stress seem like a piece of candy, and yet, they don't give up. They keep on focusing on God, even though, like Job, they might question and wander a bit. Think about Paul, John, Timothy, and all the first Christians; they didn't have it as nice as I do.

These are the times that I have to sit back, take a deep breath, and talk to my God. He has me in His arms.
