This is a place for me to share my thoughts. Be they small, be they large, be they silly or sour, be they tales of the life that is mine, this is where I put them into being.

Here's a question for you: Does holiness equate perfection?
I think what she is saying is that it can go both ways, depending on who you are talking about. God is the only One who can be both perfect and holy at the same time. He can make no mistakes, do no wrong, nor commit any evil. Humans, on the other hand, can never reach perfection. It is impossible. It will never happen. But we can live our lives dedicated to God. When we accept Jesus, His Spirit makes us holy, even though He knows that we can never be perfect. We are still going to sin, mess up, fall on our faces. The only thing we can do is try to do good and follow Christ the best we can. To be perfect would to be God.
Holy 1. specially recognized as or declared sacred by religious use or authority; consecrated: holy ground. 2. dedicated or devoted to the service of God, the church, or religion: a holy man. 3. saintly; godly; pious; devout: a holy life. 4. having a spiritually pure quality: a holy love. 5. entitled to worship or veneration as or as if sacred: a holy relic. 6. religious: holy rites. 7. inspiring fear, awe, or grave distress: The director, when angry, is a holy terror. –noun 8. a place of worship; sacred place; sanctuary.
perfection 1. the state or quality of being or becoming perfect. 2. the highest degree of proficiency, skill, or excellence, as in some art. 3. a perfect embodiment or example of something. 4. a quality, trait, or feature of the highest degree of excellence. 5. the highest or most nearly perfect degree of a quality or trait. 6. the act or fact of perfecting.

Holy can mean both perfect or dedicated to God.
Elaborate.
