Christmas Eve morning started off with a treat. Grandma's been wanting to make donuts for the last few days and we finally got around to it. These are the old fashioned cake donuts. You roll them out, use a donut cutter, plop them in the hot oil, and let them get all brown and crispy. After letting them cool a bit, then you rub them in sugar or cinnamon sugar. So tasty!!
